The Technology Park: strategic connections for innovation and development

The Santo André Technology Park is a network with an established governance structure

The Santo André Technology Park brings together the government, companies, startups, ICTs, investors, support networks, and institutions that, together, work to foster technological development and promote innovation and business competitiveness.

Our network brings together the most prominent players in the innovation ecosystem

Our partners are fully integrated and ready to support businesses, entrepreneurs, and society in their efforts to overcome the increasingly complex challenges that the future holds.

We act as facilitators of productive arrangements for the provision of technology services, open innovation challenges, pre-competitive consortia, entrepreneurship support, assistance in securing funding, talent recruitment, the promotion of a culture of innovation, and much more.

An ecosystem that delivers results

Since 2020, we have secured more than R$ 90 million in funding for projects focused on open innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.

SAVOYA | Innovation Program

The SAVOYA Innovation Program, developed in partnership with IFEEC—the Institute of Science and Technology—is dedicated to implementing and strengthening the strategic initiatives of the Santo André Technology Park.

Its work brings together applied research, technological development, entrepreneurship, talent development, and partnerships with the private sector, contributing to the consolidation of a results-oriented innovation environment.

SAVOYA organizes its deliveries in an integrated manner across three complementary and interdependent areas that operate in a continuous flow.

Research, Development, Dissemination, and Innovation

The R&D&I pillar is driven by real-world demands. Through advanced technology laboratories and open innovation initiatives focused on Industry 4.0, we link applied research to the concrete challenges faced by companies and productive sectors.

Result: a higher rate of technology adoption and a narrowing of the gap between knowledge and the market.

Entrepreneurship and Innovative Businesses

The business division transforms solutions into economic opportunities. It focuses on structuring business models, incubation, acceleration, and market access, with support from innovation agents and strategic connections.

Result: an increase in the conversion of projects into viable and scalable businesses.

Training and a Culture of Innovation

Initiatives aimed at developing technical skills, expanding access to knowledge, and bringing together talent, researchers, and companies. These include courses, workshops, events, and science outreach activities, organized in a way that is integrated with the needs of companies and ongoing projects.

Result: well-prepared talent, greater engagement, and accelerated innovation.

SAVOYA's Operating Model

The SAVOYA Program is implemented through a Partnership Agreement between the Santo André Secretariat of Economic Development and Job Creation and IFEEC—the Institute of Science and Technology, an organization classified as an OSCIP.

This model makes it possible to combine public policy guidelines with specialized technical execution, ensuring greater agility in the implementation of actions, operational flexibility, and the ability to mobilize resources and partnerships.

The result is more efficient implementation of the public policy program, greater capacity to coordinate with the ecosystem, and faster delivery of innovation projects and initiatives.

Our History

The Santo André Technology Park was officially established in December 2019, with the launch of the Services Office and its first programs.

However, since 2010, the Santo André City Government and the municipalities that are members of the Greater ABC Intermunicipal Consortium have been working to establish municipal technology parks and regional technology hubs.

Starting in 2019, with the enactment of Law No. 10,182, the Technology Park officially became part of the municipality’s administrative structure, enhancing our ability to foster innovation and economic development, with its own identity and established governance.

Innovation Ecosystem

Our greatest strength lies in our institutional partnerships. Various organizations from the private sector, government, and scientific and technological sectors make up our innovation ecosystem, which spans the municipality of Santo André and beyond.
