Linking Challenges to Solutions
Open Innovation is an initiative of the Savoya Program designed to promote innovation and competitiveness in companies through challenges, calls for collaboration, pre-competitive consortia, and other collaborative arrangements.
In this environment of increasingly rapid change, the Santo André Technology Park works to bring together government, industry, scientific and technological institutions (ICTs), companies, and startups to enhance competitiveness in the market.
Here's how it works
Companies, industries, and organizations present their needs and opportunities, which can be transformed into innovation challenges for the development of new products, processes, and skills.
The Santo André Technology Park mobilizes its network of companies, startups, ICTs, institutions, experts, and strategic partners to address the challenges at hand.
Solutions can be advanced through calls for collaboration, challenges, technology chains, pre-competitive consortia, demonstrators, innovation centers, living labs, and other innovation arrangements.
The Savoya Program helps companies identify innovation challenges through a structured analysis of their business, linking internal issues, market opportunities, and technological possibilities.
In practice, the process involves helping to identify the main pain points, prioritizing the problems, and translating those pain points into a clear innovation challenge.

From identifying opportunities to drafting the call for proposals, support includes:
• promotion through the partner network;
• customization of the online selection process;
• aligning implementation expectations with the technology’s maturity;
• support for partnership modeling;
• funding support for the implementation of solutions and proofs of concept.
